Wet eight at the BMW meeting

E24 635CSi

In recent years, we have made the joke several times that the RCS MeetUp is the most anticipated event of the year. We can't put it any other way now either, because for us this meeting is like Canaan itself. 5 (for us, as responsible working people, only 4) days with our friends, away from worries and problems, surrounded by wonderful vehicles born in Munich, which are the object of our true passion. This year, we did not have to be disappointed in the event and its organizers, nor in the participants, and the line-up did not disappoint either.

As usual, we arrived on Thursday, and on Friday a smaller caravan followed us, because as promised, we wanted to put together a very special stand this year. We deliberately waited for one or two real big guns from our arsenal to make their debut. We took from the jury's gestures that we were not disappointed, because they spent too much time around our cars and seemed to be thinking about something. As it usually happens on our last weekends, a huge storm tried to spoil the mood on Friday night, but thanks to you (and some drinks), nothing could spoil our mood. We deserve special respect and thanks for the preparedness of the organizers, who helped us protect our cars from the elements with "wind-blocking" tractors. The cars were only a little wet, but we were very…

For Saturday, to quote a classic, the time has become Miami again. Our friends also all came to live in the sun the experience that can only be experienced here. It was a great pleasure to see that so many of you decided to take your Saturday to attend the meeting with us, we sincerely hope that this becomes a good habit every year. The place was full of life, the atmosphere was so high, and we had a huge party.

And the icing on the cake came at the award ceremony. We don't want to lie or pretend to be modest - these accolades are really, really nice. It's good when dozens of people are waiting with shining eyes for us to pull the veil off our works. It is good when colleagues/friends who are experienced in the profession praise our work throughout the year. And it's just as good when the members of the selected jury recognize our performance at one of Europe's biggest BMW events. Moreover, this year we achieved this in the form of 8 (!!!) cups. As they say, that's a lot of balls. For those who missed it, let us give you a taste of the pieces from our award-winning palette:

USA M6 – On the day of our arrival, we already shot the joke. We cannot tell you how much this car means to us, as we mentioned, it really is a real gem. It is our love child with our friend Antal Benkő, and the biggest project of this year (and perhaps one of our careers). Of course, the car has been completely painted and every single part of it is top class and, of course, completely new, down to the last screw. The shark rolled out to the festival on a set of BBS RS2 wheels with stars painted to match the color of the car, and our new favorite also got an airride, just to make sure the ground clearance was right.

Z4 – The doubler: Benkő Anti also won a prize with it at AMTS (!), and of course he got what he deserved. If you missed it (in that case, don't worry), watch our AMTS broadcast on our channel, where we already presented this frenetic verda inside and out.

E30 – Antika's third car, which could also be seen at AMTS. The car, which Anti has kept at home for several decades, recently received a complete MTech 2 kit and a fantastic, unique interior from MMM Interior, together with the aforementioned 2 vehicles. Perhaps, if that wasn't enough, there is an M50B25 playing music in the engine compartment, and a set of BBS RC090s playing under the car!

M4 – The fourth diamond in Antika's inexhaustible bag. The car received a GTS wing, Movit brakes, a GTS steering wheel with rev indicator and a KW V3 chassis. The sight speaks for itself.

M3 – the work of our friend Zsolti Mikó, alias Mr. MMM Interior. We don't want to take away their laurels, this is another great work of the genius workshop, we just provided them with an excellent foundation. It was an experience to share a stand with the guys again, we hope they have rested by now (we haven't managed to do this yet).

E23 728i - The work of our friend Tibi Király's two hands, he deserves great respect and recognition for this. This is the oldest car on our stand and one of the most characteristic pieces, the shark that rolls on Japan Racing wheels and is lowered with a nice little seat!

M535i E28 – This is also where the car made its debut, further confirming our opinion that this was the most serious launch of our career so far. It was also a huge project, completely renovated from top to bottom. An E28 with this engine and equipment is a real rarity, but in its current condition, despite its silver color, it is a white raven. We will report more about it soon.

OT E30 – We close the line with a white OT E30 from Peti Kárai's own collection. This car was one of last year's big projects, it got an MTech 1 kit around it, it was completely upgraded
renewed, and M20B20 is installed in the engine compartment. There was a lot to choose from, but we decided on it, and according to them, we were not wrong.

Once again, we would like to thank the organizers and everyone who contributed to this unforgettable experience, and thank you very much for staying with us and showing us your love. See you next year! 20 is such a round number, we will be forced to make another big roll. Stay with us!
